Last week I talked about Dakko Dakko recently released vita game “Floating Cloud God Saves the Pilgrims in HD!” Now is time to talk about “The HD Adventures of Rotating Octopus Character”… Did I like it it? Well you will have to read to find out…

First off..”The HD Adventures of Rotating Octopus Character” is a game Developed and Published by Dakko Dakko recently released for the vita.  Rotating Octopus was first a mini but the people at Dakko Dakko decided to give the people what they wanted… They cleaned it up and released it on the vita in HD!

In the HD Adventures of Rotating Octopus Character.. you play a octopus that is collecting its octopi.

Im sure you just read that and thought ” Well that sounds simple and easy” Well you are right on the simple part but this game is not easy… This game brings the spirit of old school gaming.

Not only are you a octopus, you are a contently moving one.  You are moving left or right..  Hit the button.. your constantly moving left or right.. Hit another button and your jumping and sticking to whatever you land on.. This is a two button game.. A very challenging two button game.

At first you simply have to just get your octopi and collect bubbles.. But it transforms into figuring out paths to doge enemies.. and it gets intense. It can get as tense as a game of chess in some levels.. One wrong move and your dead.. Yes you have a few lives.. but time.. Time runs out.. So you need to figure it out quick.

Rotating Octopus has multiple stages and area for its campaign. I find it as more of a pick up and play in burst type of game.. I enjoyed it even though at times I just wanted throw my vita because I would screw up and jump right onto a enemy or I wouldn’t get out of the way in time.

“The HD Adventures of Rotating Octopus Character” for the PlayStation Vita is one challenging game.. You might not think it is.. but it is.. Your still reading this… My god your devoted to reading…

Why don’t you just go get this game now.. You have a vita correct? You Don’t! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU! WHY ARE YOU READING THIS! You should just go ahead and buy this game.. its only $2.49… Get Floating God also.. Its Cheap.. you can spend $5 and get two games.. That is cheaper then DLC that you will never use!

Final Verdict, I like the game.. Is it the best game on the vita.. No.. Should you try it out… Yes if you like challenging games…
